All-New 2018 Lincoln Navigator Information

April 12, 2017: The all-new, highly anticipated 2018 Lincoln Navigator was revealed at the New York International Auto Show. Many have speculated this all-new design, and Lincoln did a great job teasing the public with many prototype and concept vehicles wearing the Navigator badge. The final product, which goes into production shortly, resembles the latest rendering without the muti-step running boards and gullwing doors. Lincoln retained many of the striking lines as well as their signature grille from the latest prototype yet kept the production vehicle modern, luxurious and extremely attractive.

So what makes the 2018 Lincoln Navigator different than the outgoing model? Here are a few of the many changes that await you:

Style: Lincoln's new design language is apparent from all angles of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator; the most noticeable change is the nose which features Lincoln's new signature grille in addition to LED trimmed projector beam headlights. While the nose of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator creates a bold statement, the sides and tail radiate both luxury and style which will make you want to explore this new creation even further.

Performance: Lincoln beefed up the Navigator's performance by adding the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 and 10-speed transmission from the Ford F-150 Raptor. With 450hp and 500lb ft. of torque, the 2018 Lincoln Navigator accelerates with ease; smooth is a word that can describe the power delivery. Oh, did we mention that the new Navigator is 200lbs lighter due to the use of Aluminum?

Accommodations: Lincoln's second application of their Perfect Position seat technology is in the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. The Perfect Position seats are available with either 10, 24 and 30 way (yes you read that right, 30 way) power adjustments. These seats feature a unique cushion on frame construction which makes them look different than the typical automotive seats. When opting for the 30 way adjustable seats, you will receive segmented back cushions, adjustable thigh support as well as various massage, heating/ventilation and lumbar settings. Bringing the family along? They will enjoy the best in class second and third row leg room!

Technology: Lincoln brought some amazing technology to the market with the release of the 2017 Lincoln Continental, much of which is available on the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. With available gadgets such as Heads-Up Display, 360 degree surround view camera, 10" rear entertainment displays and a 12" fully configurable LCD digital instrument cluster, the 2018 Lincoln Navigator is any techy's dream. Of course this luxury cruiser comes standard with multiple USB ports as well as the latest iteration of SYNC which includes Android Auto and Apple Car Play. 4G LTE wireless internet will be available. Oh, and if you use the Navigator for towing/hauling, the available Pro-Trailer Backup System will become your new best friend.
